No not TO the dead. The language in itself is described as 'dead', since it is not really spoken anywhere. It is, however, the mother of several modern languages, so it's great to learn a bit anyway.

I just thought the languauge of latin interested me, and also because someone told me that there were some spells in latin so I just wanted to try it.

i agree, say it in english or whatever language you use as I think this has more power as you really know what you are saying. But good luck in finding spells in latin. If I come across any i will send them to you.

latin is a good magickal languge as it has a certain rythem to it. it is also the main one used in magickal use
