i suppose that ought to work, i haven't ever attempted to counter someone elses spell with one of my own... although i probably should have a few times

I would just suggest instead of using magic first to just tell him straight up you dont love him any more and that you want to go your separate ways.. If he still won't let you go than resort to using magic

well, the issue is more that i do love him, more than anything excluding our daughter, but while he doesn't actually have any affinity for me he's still... drawn to me, obsessed with me.

It is a longshot,and costs about $1500 but how about filing for divorce

there is a revearsel to the witches handshake, just do the jinx on him and make your command to be broken from his jinx, either that or u make urself an amulet that well repeal magic away from you and give you protection. if you still need more ways or information then message me.
