Personally, I find this method to be quite effective which is why I shared it with others that may be having trouble. To those that are unsuccessful, I would recommend trying different methods of reaching an OBE until finding one that would best suit you.

Thanks so much for your well-researched input! I really appreciate it! You are so right---the biggest problem is always the fear that something will happen while you're "gone." I'm getting back into this because of you, girl!

Robert Monroe was a pseudo scientist/philosopher who wrote a couple of books on OBE, and founded the Monroe Institute. He came to prominence in the 1950s, and made a lot of money! Just as Gardner did.Just as Cunningham did. Just as LeVay did.
He claimed to have had OBEs when he was young and seriously ill.
If you want to make a lot of money write books like Monroe's!

Personally I don't favor Monroe's method at all, but if it works for some people, the context of the author means nothing beyond citing for copyright laws.

It seems most people who achieve a OBE agree with the removal of fear as a major factor. Weither or not he is fake it does help. And that's probably the point, and maybe it's just us holding back (which is my personal belief)

In any case, the first post is a direct review of Rogo by The Canterbury Institute, New York. An Institute of Christian religion! They haven't published anything about this "2,000 experiment". Only Rogo claims that!
