wow , i never really thought about that one , I usually buy mine on line now , but when I was living in Florida there were 2 pagan shoppes that I frequented and they usually sold them for a buck a sheet ..
but when a spell calls for burning the parchment , how does the stalk burn if its green , does it smell funny ? or do you have to dry the stalks ? what kind of stalks exactly ? corn stalks ? I have a zillion questions now ...sorry LOL
I'll have to go digging for the site I saw that on. But basically, you cut the stalk, mush it up, boil it in water, strain, boil, strain, boil, strain, then put into a paper press and VOILA! When it's dried, it's paper.
I presume it might have a more "natural" smell than mass produced paper.
Oh--and yeah, you can use thistle, holly hocks, chicory, corn stalks, amaranthys....pretty much any plant that has a thick stalk on it. :)
I would love to make my own paper one day. I saw a craft show on it once, looks like alot of fun.And yea just adding a few herbs that correspond with a spell would be easy.
I could have so much fun with this idea...Might just add it to my business.
Indeed , lol. Well the whole idea if using parcahament in version one , is so that spell could be done outdoar , and that ingridients can be portable , like a quick spell .
Virgin paper is what I sugested due to my respect towards runes , that are verry powerful and old and as such desirve great respect and admiration , and nothing ( except casters blood , or energy , blood is just a bounding item ) should be mixed with it. Parchment , because it work with weather afterall , and parchment was used a lot in weather spells. Magick is not always cheep , but you can a always make your supplays , if ya know how to. ;)

Anyway, I like version 2, because it's simpler and version 1 because it simply sounds stronger (binding in blood is extremely powerful) so simplify ver. 1 and you'll have my choice..... ^-^
I do not think that is correct. The reason being is this. One of the rituals used in magic for a long time is the "Banshing Pentagram." It is used to purify a space and strengthen your arua. And it calls on the ones you mentioned. As well as Michael.
I did a weather spell once because actually we needed rain .. In Florida we were expriencing a dry spell , so I went out and looked at the sky and at the same time chanted a few words .. with in 30 minutes we had a beautiful down pour ... so you do not always need all those supplies , if you have the need and its strong enough and can visualize you can manifest rain , I have not tried it for anything else but Look Sybil Leek stired the winds (in San Francisco many years ago ) , with only a shriek .. so I believe anything is possible .
I agree completly with ya Pantheriaa, but realise that not all ppl are spiritualy developed , even to determin the real need , or to differ it from experiments . Symbols are there to represent our desires and show respect , also to connect us to spiritual forces we work with. And Fog spell is slightly diferent than most of weather spells.
Riuko I must dissagre with only one thing you mentioned ; Uriel is not a fallen / lapsed angel , He's one of four most commonly known and invoked Archengells ( Lady Tess gave great example ).
