i apologize if i'm insulting anyone. but the old stories said they were undead creatures for one reason. Ignorance. They didn't know what to make of the blood sucking "creatures" so they became hell-bent on myths. Just like how many native american religions were founded. People make up things for what they don't already know. The fact the vampires are undead is nothing more than a myth.
and vampires cannot feed off energy alone, we need the energy from blood and much more. something that feeds off the energy of blood is called a succubus.

I would also agree what Psychic vampires are actually vampires. They have damaged or broken chakras, much like blood vampires, and therefore need to find energy from others. I have been to many Kin sites, and they all agree on this. Perhaps you should do a bot more reading on them no offense to you. I'm not a vampire myself, but I have done a good bit of reading on them and other Kin types.
you are not wrong on that, you're just missing something, but still close to the truth. All vampires need to feed off energy, we get energy from the blood. But there are so many things that we need from the blood in addition to it's energy that if a vampire only fed off energy, they would still be strong, but not in top condition.
I don't believe I have. Vampires only receive this energy or "prana" from the blood, aura energy, sexual climax, or emotions depending on the vampire and the type of feeding that works best for them. I might also add that "prana" is a term that I have only heard when referring to blood not the other forms of mentioned energy. They get all other things that their body needs from food and such, as other non-vampires do. As I said I have been to many such sites and they have all said the same thing, as have the vampires that I have spoken with. I am friends with one such individual on this very site.

Claims of the thread maker sound to me like a mixture of a subcultural goth group and porphyria disease. Maybe more a subcultural thing than a sickness.
i hate the goth posers. they are the ones that say that you can be turned by a bite and you have super speed. vampirism is an endogenous retrovirus. (google it if you are unaware of it's meaning.) read the website i've posted. and you're right. vampires do need to feed off energy. It's in the blood. But there is so much more to the blood that we need other than energy that any vampire that feeds off energy alone can still be strong, but not in top condition.
