is there anyone here who has successfully conjured up a minion? I haev been trying for a few weeks now and am not having hte best of luck, wondering if someone could just give me some pointers and get me on the right track, thanks
I have (technically) 3 servitors. 1 very developed one, the others were sort of side projects that I would like to develop more. Where are you having trouble?
You are aware when creating a servitor that a good majority of the time they won't be physically visible.. It's possible but rarely happens when first attempting creating them.
it says to draw out your minion, do you have to draw it out by hand on a piece of paper?
is it possible to take a detailed picture from somewhere else, such as.... printing one off of the internet?
You can draw it, download a picture you want it to look like, or just visualize it.
I'm sure it's been said in here already, but you need to be careful when creating them. They feed off energy thus need to be carefully planned out as well as watched. If it gathers to much energy, it can get out of control and can be a problem to control...if it's feeding off your energy...good luck stopping it.
The only caution I have for using a pre-made image is be careful of your associations.
For example, say you make a servitor in the image of Christian Bale. It's a perfectly acceptable thing to do (though some people I've spoken with say that it's better to make them in an image that correlates to their purpose, for the sake of focus and intent). But, when you begin to develop this bond with your servitor, be sure that you understand it is NOT Christian Bale.
Also, it's good to try your own images. It's like making art :) You put a bit of your self into it, like you would an art piece. Even if you stink at drawing, your imagination is perfectly fine. Even if the image on paper doesn't look like what you imagined, you know its true form. Don't sweat it, it's a very personal thing.
Making a servitor based on a pre-existing image can be a really good focus thing. Like, creating a servitor meant for protection in the form of some well-known warrior. There is a bunch of energy feeding that image and connotation, so you have a lot to work with.
Now that makes a lot of sense..Here is the spell that I have been tryign :

First, you must draw what your minion looks like, and give it a name. Then, chant this while focusing your power into the picture to create it: (_____=name,capitals=say intensly,()=choose which to say)
I make a form, I make a name, For my minion, whao shall be the same. (He/She/It) shall perform (his/her/its) destiny, For in truth (he's/she's/it's) a part of me. (He/She/It) shall by my minion good, For my dreams are (his/her/its) only food. A minion of (light/darkness) you shall be. Your name is ______, SO MOTE IT BE!
Now to summon it, chant this and imagine your minion pulling itself out of your back:
_____, ______, appear before me. I am your master, SO MOTE IT BE!
Don't worry if it doesn't look good, minions can shapeshift. Also, your drawing will be an actual size(it grows as it ages and feeds) version. Yes, it DOES have a gender, or if you choose not, it's an ''it''. A minion will do whatever you want, and it will do better things as it grows. If it's light or dark depends on what you are. It ''sleeps'' when dismissed and ''feeds'' on your dreams. It IS alive. If it's light, it grows stronger on goods dreams. If it's dark, vice versa. Only you can see your minion. You must charge it by placing the picture in a light/dark place, then going to sleep to feed it. Then, when you feel it's well rested, try summoning it. Remember, minions can do anything once full size(About 6 feet tall if humanoid and on a normal piece of paper.) Dismissing your minion:
Enter, _____, enter me. It's time for your rest, SO MOTE IT BE!

The image i will have will be of Bruce Lee and the name will be that as well....
Now where am i going wrong? could be perhaps something i need to do before? some sort of pre spell preparation?
Yes u can simply recall the energy you put in it just like you feed it energy it grows...then stop giving it the energy. Or since YOU created it just simply say your task has been completed you are dismissed.
