Spellcasters Removal

I can understand not wanting to go through someone else to have your spells posted, but either it's good for someone with more experience to look over your spell before it's posted or your good enough to be on a coven council. I have only had one spell posted, but I did so easily. It went up in seconds after my priest looked it over. I don't think that a tiny bit of hassle that cuts down on the fake spells is that much of a price to pay if you want your spells posted. In the end I know nobody will close the coven, but they could at least force it to have a regular council and spell posting requirements like other covens. At the very least they could get the priest and/or priestess to look the spells over and remove the obviously fake ones.

Spell Casters has indeed been here for a very long time. I say certain theories of those who have no evidence should be kept as simple philosophies, and not spoken of in factual tone.

What I mean is, Spell Casters is not as fluffy as everyone makes them out to be. Several covens here, though not nearly as large, are just as fluffy, if not fluffier. Spell Casters is actually more active than the majority of covens on this site, and though the lessons are posted by slightly less experienced members than most active covens are known for, that doesn't mean the coven itself, as a piece of cyber space, is not useless necessarily needing to be deleted.

Spell Casters as a coven houses plenty of bogus, and plagiarized spell, but in the course of SoM history, how would one expect a coven, with no true form of experienced authority show any better judgment with posting information?
Spell Casters and its members are scrutinized, and pretty much always have been. It's traditionally the, "butt of every joke" on this website, which began just because members are automatically made council. I don't believe that idea to be entirely crap, as with good management, a coven made of only councilors could very possibly get somewhere in a productive manner. This coven unfortunately was doomed from the beginning, too many members pick at it, and just anyone who's been in chat has been made aware of Spell Casters' unasked-for reputation. Therefore, mostly inactive, fluffy noobs have been known to join that coven, because social suicide isn't on their minds. While as, some members risk it, in what I consider pure laziness of working for their council positions (posting spells isn't the only way to make yourself useful on this site).

I do not feel Spell Casters is in dire need to be deleted.

They SHOULD work to become a council member of there coven. Or at-least submit spells to another council member. That can therefore give credit.

I think that it is a good idea.... But other covens need to make it easier for Real Practisers of the Craft to add spells of their own!!!! thats the only reason im in the coven of Spellcasters becasue i can add spells whenever i like..

That's a really good idea MasterMagic, but I suppose...how? The only way in the other covens is to submit your spell to a council member.

This is quite upsetting, this petition of removal seems to be rash and slanderish. Personally i feel this tread was unneeded due to the fact that is how they govern there coven. If one dont agree then the door is open for one to leave. Yes, i do get frustrated at times to see what i would call "fantasy" practiced but that is spellcasters coven issue. Apart of me fells that this is not a concern for the public nor is our business. and could have been a privet conversation to the leaders of the coven

There have been movements to try and get Spell Casters removed, and so far they've failed. It seems the only ones who can remove covens are Administrators, and I don't think they feel the need to remove the one in question other wise they would have done so a long time ago.

In my opinion of course...

All spellcasters needs is moderation, because it has no priest or priestess.
Simply Flag and one star the fluffy spells. There is no need for the removal of the coven itself, as it is made to be a 'free-for-all' coven.

Vramel... maybe we shouls submit the spell to the head of the coven, and they should read over it and tell us if its worthy of being posted. then the should put us in the council so we can post it!
or something like that...
