It is NOT possible to cast a spell for you to become a mermaid. And your friend definitely did not transform into one before your eyes, unless she cast a glamour/illusion spell that made her appear as a mermaid.

If so, a glamour spell to put people under the illusion that you are a mermaid might work, but I am very doubtful.

Also, you could try lucid dreaming; so you imagine and feel you are a mermaid.

Dreams can be verey realistic. Maby you dimc you knew her and didn't want to say good by your mind detached from her in a memorable way. It can happen.

I belive it is possible, and please, will you other people just let other people who belive alone? Does it hurt you that bad to have faith in something? And even if you are right, let us learn from expireance. Don't crush our dreams. There what brought us here, and that's why we stay- so lay off.

So you'd rather spend a good portion of your time trying to achieve something that eventually will let you down, instead of accepting that people with 20+ experience are correct and spending that time working on actual magick and the beauty it can bring?

And as I said earlier, try lucid dreaming! As somebody said, dreams can be very real; and if you would like to put yourself under the illusion that you are a mermaid lucid dreaming is for you. Lucid dreaming is dreaming while you know you are dreaming, and controlling your dream.
