No offence but if its a spirit why would he need a cell phone the spirit could hurt him way before he dialed the number? I think you should go with him so he wont be alone and your friend shouold not ride in the same car with the dude or go somewhere succluded for lunch.

My friend is much smarter than that, but sadly I can't go with him. I will be in school and he has already graduated. But I always have my cell phone, so he can text/call if he needs it.

Yes that's my concern but he doesn't feel human. Humans have this sort of feeling to them. His feeling doesn't match at all.

Both of you need to stop meeting with the man and ward your friend's house, get him a good amulet. There are bad people in this world who use magick in a very nasty way. It isn't curses that are the worst thing someone can do to another, it is mental torture. With fear comes weakness. With weakness comes opportunity. Just as there is spiritual vermin that will feed and prey on the fear and energy of people, there are also physical people who do the same. What you're friend is seeing are images meant to frighten. Now here is a good question for you, if your friend fears why is he compelled to return to speak with this man? I use the word "compelled" deliberately.

Has this man given you friend anything? If so, burn it and perform a banishment.

There is a possibility that he isn't human, I know that the djinn/daemons are natural shapeshifters, though it's unlikely that one of them is involved unless somebody summoned one. Does your friend have any "enemies" that would want to hurt him?

Another possibility, although slim, is that this guy is telepathically projecting a false image into your mind to disguise himself.
