I agree with Magicwoman, just let it go over your head don't let it make you angry. She's right someone will always tell you something that you won't agree with, that's what happens, we are all different. Also like magicwoman said some do follow this as a religion so alot may take offence and you don't want to be ganged up on for something that was not Intentional, I suggest that if you wish to post something like this in the forums make sure you label it "for entertainment purposes" or something along those lines.
Im with Azule. When people try to post something we thought was neat, you guys just bash it into the ground. This is just a fun little thing to do. If you dont like it then just keep it to youself. Yes if you believed it to be neat then you should of simply stated that it's for entertainment, I am not "bashing" anyone I am speaking in a calm way, only trying to advice not critisize. I recall that I said Azul may have insulted others unintentionally, I'm not saying Azul is wrong to post things like that on here I'm saying it should be labelled so that Azul will have no further trouble with offending people accidently.

This notion that witchcraft is a religion is not quite true. Wicca is a religion, witchcraft is a craft. And it has very little to do with spells.Many witches cast very few spells, some never cast spells. Please do not associate witchcraft with Wicca.They are poles apart!
Perhaps everyone needs to take a deep breath and relax. I find the biggest issue on this site is the way people misread, misunderstand, misspeak and misinterpret what other are doing.
Azul88 just wanted to share a fun quiz they found and let everyone know what they scored on that particular quiz. These types of quizzes and tests are made for fun and not to be taken to seriously or literarily.
Magic can be very serious and something that requires reverence as well as respect at times. This however is not an absolute. There is a balance that needs to be achieved in all things. It is balance that keeps the universe alive. Without a bit of fun in magic I personally would not want to practice it as much. Who would?
I did not take this particular quiz that Azul88 did, however I did take a different one I found on the same quiz site. It was the "What is your level of magical knowledge?" I thought the questions were not half bad and I scored "you are a witch". Which is correct, I am a witch and the information that followed the score was very nice. I suggest if you have time taking the quiz for the fun of it. ; )
It's a quiz on a website that is designed for anyone to create one for any reason. It does not, in any way, shape or form tell the taker that this is their "absolute level in magick" and they should run around telling people such things. That, would be up to the discretion of the quiz taker, and people who know the answers to the questions, wouldn't take it as much more than simply passing a basics quiz.
I looked at the quiz. I took the quiz. There were questions about herbs, tools, divination tools, deities, moon phases, ect. All run of the mill basic questions for the most part, though clearly geared towards the creators personal path.
It wasn't mocking. It wasn't even fluffy. Completely legit questions with legit answers.
I see no reason to be so serious. We can laugh at the pagan humor threads, I see no reason not to laugh at a quiz designed to test your basic knowledge in what is considered "SoM basics" for the most part..
