I do not not think arguing over this simple thread that didn't actually harm anyone is childish and takes up constructive space.

Even though he might not listen, explain to him that magic does not work that way. If you have the patience, teach him what real magic is about. Thanks to the fiction novels and movies many of us love, some become deluded as a way of escaping their own lives. If you cant be patient and kind, perhaps just ignore it.

well, with dragon magic there is a ritual where you ride a dragon, but this is a very hard soul searching journey that will force you to confront those things about yourself you keep hidden.

that being said, just kindly, and calmly, explain to your friend what magic is, what wicca/witchcraft is, and what can and can't happen. when it comes to fluffies you need to be nice, hostility will make someone angrier because you're arguing faith, if they hav strong believe two spirits are within them, you can say 'there's the divine in each of us', or you could say 'you're a fluffy and an idiot, a god would not enter you to help get revenge. a god would just do it. that's why it's a god.' in all situations actually, you should be level headed and explain your views calmly. if hostility is the only answer, either walk away, or let them have it. it just comes down to what you feel is the better approach.
