Hmmmm.... I had the same problem, except I'm a boy, and my first couple of spells where love spells. Well actually, it was an enchanted chunk of rose quartz that had been blessed with holy water (I kindof went overboard) and it worked fine. What I think is happening is that the spell is simply opening doors, opportunities as you say, but remember, doors don't open unless you make them. Take the first step, don't wait for someone to do it for you. Love spells are complicated, people think they instantly make onefall in love with you, no, instead they create situations that make the person realize their true feelings for you, be it jealousy, he, love, etc. The question answered at the end:none of your possible solutions. The solution is take the first step and tell him/hr (from the story it sounds like ure a girl, so I guess him.)

At the point I was feeling a little down considering the turn the spell had taken. The past few weeks were really eye opening and made me a believer in this stuff for sure. But yes, there was a bump in the road and what seems like a hiccup in the spell process.
I really hope the other posters are not right about love spells since all it did was give me plenty of open doors to communication which I never thought I would've had with this person. It also brought out feelings I never thought I would've had about this person. Thoughts like you described; jealousy, love, etc. I mean this all started happening as soon as I started the spells.
I just do not think that it could;ve just worked on me though, that is the thing that's keeping me hopeful. I am sure the other person had to have felt something too.
Maybe evinmancer has a point, but from the spells I tried out, the two love spells were kind of nasty and the attract love one seemed to work. All three were rune magic, which tends to misfire badly if there's a mistake in the order. Evinmancer's ingrediants seem to be oriented towards a really benign and relaxed enchantment.Other kinds, especially voodoo spells are more forceful . Maybe that's why it just made doors open and didn't cause problems. Maybe jude whould post exactly how the spell is done and how its supposed to work
It was a basic red candle lighting, pic of the person, lots of prayer and positive imaging. Also writing the desire on red ink and burning the paper.
I just kept at it every night. It seemed to have opened a lot of doors and lines of communication. But most were opportunities that I bungled up each time. That's what had me so frustrated. I didn't know that the spell was basically just supposed to do that. I figured it would've done something more like just make the person blurt out the right words so I would know exactly how they felt. Instead it was a lot of innuendo, ambiguous conversation, and flirtation. But man oh man, did it feel great and got the ball rolling.
I am sure that anyone else would've gone in for the "kill", as in would've gotten the clue this person like you, but I didn't and messed up every single opportunity the spirits gave me.
That is why it shocked me to learn about my present dilemma. I am just hoping that I didn't ruin anything or that I will never have another opportunity again.
I know those feelings are still there, it's not like they can go away, the spells revealed to me that they've always been there for the both of us.
Should I just lay low and try again later when all this boils down a bit? Do the spirits give more chances despite all the ones I missed? I am much more mature in my understanding of spells so I am hoping that they will.
I am positive they will give you another chance whether you wait or continue to cast the spell again and again. And the spell you are trying is supposed to work the same as my amulet. If you want, I can tell you how to make it, so if you are on a time limit and need to be able to just carry around something just ask. I think I might just post the recipe on the spells list.
Evinmancer or anyone else, how do you figure that the spell I was doing is like the amulet? Are they if similar strength? Also, despite my current predicament, why do you figure I will get another chance?
My advice, you don't need magic for love. Go about it a mature way and talk. Communication, sort out what's going on, be honest and straight up. You wont know how any party feels unless you ask them. Magic isn't something that should be used for every little thing. There are mature adult ways to handle things.
