MoonSeeker, when the cards are doing that (all reversed) it can mean different things. Some people believe it is just your cards trying to get more noticed.

My suggestion will to do the reading two times, one to read them all as they are (reversed) and than again but this time upright. Which ever makes the most sense to you will be the correct reading.
I say this because some people suggest reading all of the cards as if they were upright. I have yet to try that or get all reversed so not sure if it works.

Hi Nash
I believe so much in tarot cards and someone bought me my own.
I didn't start reading until a year later and got a book from the library to assist me.
When I ask about a situation, I generally get the 'truth'.
However, I have consulted a lot of tarot readers by phone and have found some to be 'spot on' to tell me things I never mentioned and to tell me what is happening and when will change.
There are some, though, that have told me what 'I want to hear' and I have put the phone down a few times knowing they are not genuine.
How do they get on these lines when they are trying to 'defraud' people?
How do we know when we are getting a genuine reading?
Can someone really read tarot cards aver the phone?
As I say, I have had some amazing readings but some people are being 'conned' and not getting the real, wonderful experience!
Do you offer readings?
And if so how would I get it?
Thank you for your time.

Hello loulou64, thanks for readings and giving Tarot a try.

The issues with people that do phone readings is that some of them are just doing it for the money. There could be a chance that you will get someone that knows what they are doing but you will also get a chance of getting someone that will just tell you what you want to hear.

Sadly there is only one sure way to tell if someone is giving you a false reading and that is understanding what they are trying to do. For example, if you asked a reader about an isolated issue with your parents and they try to say they love you very much or it will go away than that is just them telling you what you want to hear. But if they explain the issue with detail and try to give you a solution or what you can do than they are really giving you a reading. It all matters if they want to help you or just give you false hope.

Of course the cards themselves doesn't tell you the whole story so sometimes the reader needs you to answer his or her questions. This does not mean they are fake but trying to get a better understanding on your part.

Reading Tarot cards on the phone is tricky but can be done. Because they have a direct line of talking to you they know how you feel by the tone of your voice. The only different between doing a face to face reading and phone readings is that the person being read too cannot see the cards and the reader cannot see their face.

I have done online readings, not really my favorite, and I almost always hit the spot. So if online readings can be done, but not as well as face to face, so can telephone readings.

For the people that are being conned, try not to go for readings if the reader is asking for money. Anything more than 7 dollars per reading is a bit much (Unless they have a big spread or if it is a special reading, than the price may be increased.). Before trying to "buy" a reading try to find someone that will give you a free reading or at a lower price than 7 dollars.

I do offer readings here on the site. Just message me with your question and I will see what I can do. I do not do, however, love readings. If your question can be done and not about something ludicrous like "Will I make friends in the near future" or "How well will I do in school" than I can do it.

Thank you for your time.
What you said is exactly what I thought.
But thank you for clarifying for me!!
I have, as I said, had some amazing readings on the phone.
I would like to ask you a question when my head is clear and not so emotional.
Thank you

Here is another tip, it is not really a big issue but it is handy to know.

When giving readings to children it is best to look at a few things before doing it.

First you need to know if the child will understand what you are telling them. Also can they handle the reading and not goof off.

Second, if their parents are nearby ask them if it is all right. This is important when you are at birthday parties, parks, or wherever there are a high level of children in the area. By asking their parents if it is okay will reduce them freaking out later.

And lastly, if they need the reading. Giving readings is fun but when you are just giving one for the sake of giving a reading than it can twist and turn. Also if you give them a reading they might take it to heart and not let it go, true or false.

With me, you will just have to see if they are ready for one or not.

Thank you for your time, Nash.
I feel kind of drawn to you whenever I see you on the forums.
I would love to ask you for a reading but need to think of how to put my question in to context.
Thank you again for your time.
