Vanity put it perfectly. One can only help those that want help. And wanting help comes from realizing you need help. Evidently extensive studies and learning rather then brushing through and taking the easy way was not taught of importance to him. I know I read and read an studied and studied mercilessly and still have much to learn. But even I can see the truth in this.

Whether we observe it or consciously create it, magick just IS. It was around before people knew how to use it consciously. Yes! Magick can be done unconsciously. So although we use our minds to focus our wills, the energy is not ours, we didn't make it ourselves. We get it from somewhere. To think that we are creating this magick alone, that we just make it happen by controlling it. And it's just lying around for us to pick up and "use" like a tool is ridiculous! the 'with the mind' sounds a little insulting. i know what you mean, but i also comes across to me as 'all in your heard'.
in terms of spell casting, the best ones i've cast were the companion spell for my mom because she wanted someone to go to concerts and dinner with, and this luck/protection spell on my ex. in one week he found 50$ and got 2 dates with different girls. [before we started dating]
personally though i rarely cast, but i do charge a lot of my food/chores with energy and typically will say a chant over them, those work well enough i suppose.
yea thanks to whoever deleted my post and white raven basically wut i said is magick is universal and our brain is what syncs us in to this dimension you take it for granted what it can do like create a atom bomb or predict events like nostradamous and so therefore our mind is a tool that if we can control we can use magick in ways we could not otherwise. Like with meditation which is a neccesity to learning anything thats why people dont know they are meditating because our minds control us. If we can control our minds and use all of it then there is no boundaries to reality.
Because we are also part of nature, we are on top of the food chain in this planet for a reason. Magick is universal and magnetic we exist as one and in a sense also infinity at the same time. This is just one dimension. Our brains see wut our eyes cannot. People use magick to control this world wether you like it or not, we are all under a spell right now.

Anomaly...this is a fallacy. One cannot be in an illusion and know of it because the nature of an illusion is to be unknown. Ignorance is the mechanic through which illusions work, so while you may believe yourself to be in a certain illusion, you are in fact under the influence of a completely different one.
As to what magic really is, I have yet to find out. I feel as though I touched the tip of the iceberg, but I'm far from the surface of the water. And, as for how I use it; I use to gain understanding of the world around me...I'm not trying to control anything through magic, I don't want control because I know how many errors I make with what little I have now. I just want to learn more about myself, the world, and magic.
i disagree to an extent of how strong the illusion is like a magic trick one can know it is a trick but not how it is done. Same with me i know its a illusion but i dont know how to escape it.
