Well he has been far more active in my life then my mothers. But she has had several near death experiences where something strange would happen. Like when she was a teenager she got in an accident. She said she was heading right for a tree at about 40 with it right in front of her. Next thing she knows she comes to a stop and apparently missed the tree completely which at that speed and the distance shouldn't have happened without the car turning completely. Something similar happened when she had a seizure when I was 9 I remember seeing her start convulsing and I saw a large wooden light post and we hit it but instead of stopping we went through it like paper with almost no damage to the car. And we came to a stop just before hitting a tractor even though her foot was on the peddle. The only damage was to the windshield everything else was find even me. And I didn't have a seat belt on. My whole family is full of odd stories like that that involve just not dying or getting hurt in a situation that really should have done damage. The only minute thing I have with the shadow man that freaks me out is the fact that I don't fight ever no matter how much someone hits me I just don't move. But then I see him somewhere in the back ground and I get into some sort of blood rage and whale on my attacker until someone pulls me off of them.Its even harder to pull me off when I ask him to do so.(in extreme situations) And I suppose he could be around because of my heart problems not the other way around. I just don't understand why he wants me alive so badly. I just want to know more about them so I can figure out their reasoning. Or why all the smaller ones are so attracted to me.
Its funny that I just saw this post because I just met a child one today. I live in an abandoned farmland where on my investigation s on the old barns lead me to believe bad things have happened here (I don't think it involves slavery because the farm isn't that old I think). So I get a lot of spirits because the area seems to be supposedly "haunted". These spirits you call "shadow people" are usually the manifestation of certain dark energies. That doesn't mean they're necessarily evil but think of them more like a misunderstood lonely child. They're good at manifesting in haunted areas and causing fear because that's what they're basically made of. Haunted areas have a focus of fear and avoidance on them that solidifys into an astral being. Like I said they're like a lonely child you see many similarities like the "strong silent type" and so on. And the clothes, they're spirits so they can look like almost anything and you'll noticed that humans with similar personalities will have a similar wardrobe. Oh and the one I met today was a child and if you really look at some of them you'll see that they sometimes have even more details, this one had a tie and hair and when it finally spoke its voice sounded like crying. From what I've noticed with the young ones is that they just about always sound like they're crying when they talk. I don't know y this particular one took an interest in your family but from what I've noticed about you from your post on this form is that these shadow people suit you and that you are quite compatable with them. And you should be glad you have him.
Thats interesting. I have been up close before and never seen any detail its always just a 3d Silhouette and I even confirmed it with a couple others Not to mention they never talk even the one that follows my family has said a total of like 3 things to me in my life. And it just feels wrong when it does like it really isn't meant to do that or something. If we are talking about the same thing it poses far more questions then answers :(.
I've encountered several spirits before, but this sounds very different from anything I've seen. The only phenomena it resembles that I know of is a shapeless darkness that aggressively feeds off energy and lives in places of high negative energy. Perhaps this shadow person is actually that same sort of entity, but at a later stage of development. As they grow, they become more self aware and may be trying to prevent negativity. Alternatively, it may just be feeding off you and wants to keep you alive so it doesn't have to find a new "host". This would explain why it's apparently followed your family from one generation to another, but doesn't explain everything.
If it has been feeding off you, I suspect your body has adapted to it since it's been following you since your birth. I would recommend trying to get in contact with it through meditation or asking for assistance from a higher power (God or angels if you're Christian). This entity may not be harming you and has even saved you in the past, but it is acting without your knowledge and that puts you at unnecessary risk. The way it has apparently reacted to you being assaulted seems, to me, highly aggressive and potentially dangerous. I know of angels and spirit guides and they have great skill and knowledge of how to interact with and help people through their lives. At the minimum this entity should learn from them if it can.
Well unless I met him personally I can't personally tell you if he's using you or not. But something that I warn you of is that they can sometimes draw in bad energies as well as prevent them. Now dose he ever use unnecessary aggression twords you or people you care about (like when it doesn't involve saving your life) or you feel drained when he's near you (if its not somehow near you). This is sign of being used by a spirit. Now they tend to be very aggressive but what matters is if they know how to direct it.
when i was about 7 i i was laying in my bed and i saw what looked like a black hole in my wall. it had what looked like tentacles and a lot like what you described the younger ones to look like. except it didn't look like a shadow and it was very close up. for lack of better words, the darkness was blinding. if you find out more about these i would like to know.
Umm... What you experienced doesn't sound like a shadow person. It could've been a gateway or you were imaging things cuz you were 7. Check to see if it's still there if you can.
most likely the later. i didn't usually have experiences like this one nor did i often imagine things but if it wasn't my imagination, then i think you are right, but it did move. is that normal for gateways? i have moved since then so i cant check it.
I don't normally feel drained besides the strain on my body I actually become more aware of my surroundings but to the point its like seeing to much of things around me. Its like cleaning off your glasses for the first time in a week. Everything is super clear and perfect visual wise. But it kinda gives me a head ache. And we don't really communicate. I can kinda feel what he wants and he seems to be able to tell if something is going on with me. And unless something dangerous is going on he just watches at a distance far enough it doesn't effect me.
Well the shadow person most likely intends good for you but I'm interested in why he choose your family and when did he actually start getting involved with your family?
And for gateways. They're astral entities that connect from one place in the astral realm to another. Because of the fact that in the astral realm a being can be any where they want. But certain areas in the astral realm are more manifested in the physical plane so they appear to overlap it more, but however some areas are not (essentially meaning the astral plane is bigger than the physical).
In order for a spirit or anything on the astral plane to manifest something into the physical it's better if it's closer to the physical plane. So gateways which are usually created by mages but can be created through other means as well. There is a lot more on gateways but this basically scratches the surface but movement is possible and I personally seen it before. It sounds like it may just be one large powerful spirit trying to get through. Usually that's the case if it moves and that kind would usually disappear after the being got through. So basically the spit was evoking himself rather than being evoked by a magician.
