I think it is your imagination only, sometime if you think too much about anything than it create very much effect to your mind as well as your activities also. I don't think backward or forward moving in time is possible as it does not exist. It can be your illusion only.

time DOES exist though :) it's a very complex force of nature and i believe there is several different speeds of time if you will, maybe dreams are in a different time speed... :)

You may have had a consciousness shift in that you may have been conscious on a non physical level and therefore could only recognise 'physical' objects in a symbolic manner.
Pathworking in the Kabbalah gives the same visual data, you maybe asleep physically or in a trance of some sort but the mind and hence the spirit and soul are still conscious but are not bound by the laws of physics as your physical body is. As your physical being was not a factor in your consciousness at that 'time' then your conscious mind did not factor in any physical data because it did not need to.
Confusing? Yeah I know, but I dont know how else to describe it.
Time is measured symbolically for our minds to comprehend on a physical level.
But 'time' or rather cycles do exist, if they did not we could not apply planetary hours and the Law of Thermodynamics would not be valid.
