Don't. Many people won't believe something as new as this upon first hearing it. Don't be sneaky, but just find ways for protective items to "arrive" at her house. Make a pendant with a charged crystal, or just hide protective objects in the rooms of the house. All else failing, do something direct. Seeing as this elder is well trained, do NOT stop her directly. Instead, try to null her pendelum's effects, or even negate them. I hope this helps.
