Demonguy13, there are so many myths and legends in the world, please do say specifically which country or tradition to which you are referring.

I'm talking about myths I read in Greek myths. Heracles was a formidable one.

Because if you compare Hercules and Jesus, and you get two very very very different ideas of how "son of (a) god" status would even work within the mythology, so I was like, "What is he talking about??"

So, just in the interest of further clarification: Did you mean that you didn't believe these guys ever existed, or that you don't believe that they had superhuman powers, or that you believe they existed and got stuff done but you don't believe one of their parents was (a) god, or you believe that they existed as demigods with superhuman powers but you don't believe that they became immortal after dying?

I believe they existed and had powers. I just believe that they didn't become a complete god after death.
