Yes magick is based on energy, but there are some things that simply cannot be done, things that break the laws of nature/physics/biology/chemistry, making it far less than a 50/50 chance.
If someone could change the weather with magick we would see huge issues with any kind of weather mapping and people would start to notice rain storms in a heat wave.
Sure if someone can actually do it, then that's great, but given the number of people on this website who have been studying for years, more years than most people on here have been alive for, that are 100% certain it is not possible, I choose to trust those people and my own knowledge, rather than a newbie to the site who claims they can do the fantastic.
Just my opinion, but from what I can tell it seems to be the general opinion, at least here.
i see where your looking but what about voodoo and talking to the dead they are things that brake the the law in half

Voodoo is simply a practice in witchcraft, I see that as no different to any other kind. And no one in science truly knows what happens after we die, there are still majour rifts in the scientific community, there are no set in stone laws with this topic because we simply do not know.

Of course we know what happens when we die! We rot. We go back to earth. If you don't know that, then you have not studied at all! You have really only believed!

As someone in the field of biology I would really appreciate not being spoken to that way if you would be so kind.
I am not discussing what happens to our bodies, even a child knows we rot, I am discussing what happens when we die spiritually. There is a divide in the field, some believing that there may be a secondary form of consciousness that makes up a "soul" that can be seen by some after death.
It is a way of understanding OBE's, ghosts, etc.

I agree with h20, some are cormforted by there love one going to heaven, when you speak like that its disresptfull , besides this is called spell of magic not sciencev of magic, h20 you took the words right out of mouth thank you
Well this is a controversial topic. Weather spells are a grey area some believe in, others don't. Perhaps you could influence the weather in some little way, but you cannot point at someone and knock them off their feet with a gust of wind.
@ ihedi technically we are all the elements, not just one. Some people connect with one more than others. Look into what the element rules, what its represented by, and what types of spells it is good to be used in, and try to incorporate the element into your practice [example, play a wind instrument in your circle]

I have to agree with Nekoshema, weather spells are something some people believe in amd others don't
If one connects with the wind, they can control it not in any fancy way but maybe enough to create light gusts,to make it faster or slower(once more not at supernatural speeds but by a little only)
