^_^ that's a fine start, you don't have to explain yourself to me [sorry if i came off a little harsh also] but you should be able to answer a few simple questions because your mom will have them, like 'why' because of the friend you admire and a desire to help others is a lot better than 'i saw this movie and they're cool'.
