didn't know moderators couldn't do that. they should be aloud. or maybe a select few so they don't go around deleting all the ones they merely don't agree with.
"Everything's possible."
That's what i believe. Do we know if anyone really um..turned into a mythical being? We don't. Their stories, legends, myths whatever you want to call them but since we haven't seen it happening with our own eyes......we can not really say, yet we believe in magic and what she can do....magic is real, if magic is real why not them and the possibility of becoming one?
Idk about you but i'd like to believe that people can turn into a creature they want to and like, if not though just knowing they exist and can come in contact with it works. ;)
Oops forgot something. Let's not take away some poeples hopes and dreams even if their foolish cause it might be all they have. Having a wild imagination never hurt anyone. ^_^
I respect your opinion, however, people make that claim all of the time, but when asked to present video evidence, or evidence in general, they can't. They are so eager to brag about how those spells supposedly worked for them, yet they can't provide one sliver of evidence?
Magic has limitations, and another problem with many of the newcomers is that they need to learn that, or they refuse to accept that.
Magic can't be used to change gender, race, species, etc. If that were the case the world would be overpopulated with mythical creatures. I'm quite happy that magic has limitations, if it didn't it would be even more abused by those new to working with it or those that don't truly understand it.
Loni you are right. I also respect your opinion, you speak logically. It would be chaotic if people could change their genter and what they are but about mythical creatures, like us they have their own dimension and they belong there. If they exist but are summoned here for short periods of time by us, they know us, and i don't think they like us. People can be truly bad, worst than animals. People can't accept the different. So lets say they exist and the know, either they like it here but hide or hate it and stay away, or their is someone, greater than us in control who keeps them away and us in place. Their is a reason for everything.
Still though i totally agree that people who claim they changed and when asked for proof they have nothing. These people are fanciful.
Let them be. These people are the one who makes us laugh. If they were fanciful we wouldn't have something to make fun of. We wouldn't have something to laugh with. I do laugh a lot.
But...let's just not stop using our imagination, it's not a bad thing to be a bit crazy, only if you know the limits ;)
To be blunt, I do not like to just "let them be" when they are saying false things and claiming the impossible. This is for the sheer fact that they tend to confuse others, especially newcomers, and derail them from learning actual practices, real practices. I cannot express how many times someone has come into the chatter and said something that was 100% fantasy- and watched as a horde of newcomers jumped on the wagon with them. I understand the appeal, the desire for some things. But as Loni so wonderfully stated: "Magic has limitations, and another problem with many of the newcomers is that they need to learn that, or they refuse to accept that.".
We should be doing our utmost to clarify and stress that some things are fantasy . The fantasy spell section is just that. The definition of fantasy: "a whimsical or far-fetched notion, imagination unrestricted by reality, an unrealistic or improbable supposition.". Please also note that under the fantasy spell section it states: " T hese spells are all fantasy based. Most true practitioners of magic do not believe that these types of spells are real.".
