I want to be wiccan

The reason i want someone to teach me is cause i can't ask the internet questions. Plus i tried reading a book on wicca and it just got me confused.. Sorry i don't want to sound stupid or anything but it will be better for me if someone teaches me

I can teach you, what questions do you have, or do you just want general info about wicca?

Dreamlife let's start small right now. You said that you want to be wicca, then let start there. Just answer yourself this question: Why do you want to be wiccan? What do you want to learn from that path and what got you to that path? Just answer the question honestly and you don't have to post it here. Then go from that. If you want to learn the history of wicca read about "Gerald Gardner" or read "The Triumph of the Moon: A History of Modern Pagan Witchcraft by Ronald Hutton" or "Drawing Down the Moon" by Margot Adler. Now if you want to know about the gods I recommend you to read mythology but hey that's my opinion and I know that you said that if you read it you get confused but just try and do your best.

i suggest going to a library or buying some books. they will help you TONS. trust me. even if they seem thick and intimidating, read em. you can always type in a question and add "yahoo" at the end. yahoo answers will pop up. thats how i research my stuff about random things. just type it in google.

In Wiccan Tradition, you have to be blessed by a High priestess, but people tend to skip steps due to the unavaibality.

well you said you want to be wiccan but why do you want to be something you said you didnt know about (im not trying to say wicca is wrong or anything because its note i have most of the same beliefs) but you should learn about other relgions too

I dont know about wicca your right. But i heard its a earth and nature religion and stuff and im a huge tree hugger so i want to learn about it

well maybe what your looking for is paganism.. wicca is an earth based religion but it has alot to it and you have to be dedicated. Mostly you start with the god and goddess to represent the polaritys and the male/female relation in everything (every person tree and animal have such inside them). The godds/goddesses that are yours you get to choose, its cooler if they pick you but you can go with whatever one intrests you the most (and you dont have to stop at one you can beleive in many) most wiccans beleive that the goddess is of three to represent the moon cycle maiden, mother, and crone and that the god i refer to him as the horned one is her mate. The sabbats are celebrations/ rituals in which you celebrate the cycles of the two and every month on the full moon you celebrate as well because that is one of easiset moments for your will to be picked up and brought to life. That is a quick rundown.. if you like what you hear do more reasurch if not then maybe you would prefer to hear about paganism instead.
