Coming Out!

Raised very strictly, as a Wiccan?

No she wasn't raised as a Wiccan.

.... That doesn't make sense, which clearly means she doesn't know what true Wicca is or what it means to be Wiccan.

Well personally, I don't think that's the issue. I just need some advice, guys.

I remember when I first started to come out and let someone know of my interest it was my brother ... And he was soooo against anything to do with witchcraft . He says witchcraft is purely evil and satanic .. He told me he didn't want me doing anything like that cuz he said it could bring "unwanted energies" ... But he doesn't realize that witchcraft is not bad at all whatsoever . Then I remember telling my mom finally , and she was completely against I as well saying tha same thing my brother said ... Tha only person I know of is my grandmother and she's a white magic witch but she also believes in Christianity which is weird but possible . Honestly my family still doesn't know I continue to study witchcraft and iam still marking my path in this world . My opnion to youu is to not care what your family or anybody thinks about it , its your life to live . I do mine in secret so nobody knows , and would like to find like minded witches that are in tha same position as us :)

Best thing to do is just to sit her down and tell her your feelings. SHe is wither going to be supportive or she is not. Worst case scenario is that you will have to wait until you are 18 to practice unless you do it covertly. Besides, there is nothing wrong with studying about it fora couple years anyhow.

How/where did your mom learn about Wicca? Because I know it's possible to be a Wiccan who practices little to no ritual magick, but I'm not sure how one manages to learn the Wiccan religion while circumventing all possible lessons on magick.

Don't tell!!! Practice in secret!!! Your mother is wiccan and that her view on magick!!??!!
