Shadow Hound

I've done some research but there are many it falls in or could be. It doesn't communicate with me- only watches silently. I can't quite make out what it wants...

You could try communicating with it by using various methods of divination, like Dowsing for simple yes/no questions and maybe cards for more complicated ones.

See, I've tried all that. I've meditated, used a medium to try and even out some kind of energy, used cards, amulets and even a few incantations from my shadow book... nothing. It follows me everywhere but says nothing. I don't know if its unable to or just disregards everything I attempt. I don't want to be forceful with something potentially dangerous. All I know is the feelings I get when it's here aren't hostile per say... I just can't put my finger on it but my familiar is fearful of it.

I have what looks like a shadow bird that perches over me hence the name raven.. My dog trembles because of this thing and i have a huge german shephard. I talked to a hoodoo priestess and she told me its a guardian

I have had one hanging around me for years

If that's true then who I wonder would do that? I don't have any friends or family who practice Magick. No one close to me would do such a thing... Unless they can be summoned unintentionally...

In my case
I was being mentored by a old native witch
I was still young
I think she called it

You see, I have no one who follows in my practice. I'm a true Hedge witch and no one I know would ever summon such a thing to protect me.

Could be a he'll hound, or a black dog. Those are usually death omens. The fact you haven't died or someone close to you that is a good sign it's not it let me see what I can find.

I've seen a hell hound and I can assure you that's not what it is. I thought that at first but after doing some research on it something like a death omen wouldn't follow it's victims around. It'd just appear and then that'd be the end of it.
