Magic has no colour!

Energy has no color. If you see a color when looking at an energy it is your perception of the type of energy it is that gives it a color. Colors are an illusion of the eye. This is due to the rods and cones contained with in them. Some creatures do not even see colors other than black, white, and gray. Then others only add shades of one more color. As humans we are fortunate that we see the vast range of colors that we do, but even some of us are colored blind. This is mostly a male defect due to the gene is a recessive trait carried on the X chromosome, so for a female to to suffer from it they must have two X chromosomes that are carrying the defect. Perception is your reality. Even those who are not color blind do not see the exact same color as others. (My mother had a dress once that to her and I it was a light green but to her best friend and her mother the dress was light blue.) Truth also relies on perception. If you perceive a color to energy and the manipulation of that energy as a specific color than you are relying on an illusion of the eye to cloud your judgment. I think it best to describe magic which is energy manipulation as positive or negative but then that is also a perception. One man's blessing (a positive)is another man's curse (a negative).

Yes, it could reverse in each individual's eyes.

I agree that it is human nature to catagorize things, thus giving magick color makes it easier for some to understand.

That being said, not everyone knows that magick has no color.

Is it annoying to see it repeated numerous times? Yes. But not everyone on this site is well versed in magick theory or magick period. So while some may be annoyed by the "education", it's better than no education on the subject at all.
