I've also heard of necromancy as divination with dead thing. Like eating the flesh of the dead (I think to acquire visions?), stuff involving ashes of a burned corpse, and casting bones, etc.

It's one of those "loaded words"... sounds cooler and 'darker' than it is lol. XD

I agree but I don't think a "newbie" should start with necromancy.

kikuyo isnt wrong when saying that, that is a form of necromancy, like burning a dead cats placenta and rubbing the ashes in your eyes to be able to see spirits, (NOT ADVISABLE).

I suggest start with meditation, herbs, candles, and projections....they are easier to learn than other things and safer.
