"Christian Wiccans"

well, first, forgot to check how old this was, noobie mistake, second, lost track, didnt know if he was talking bout pagans or wiccans. thats my bad.

I too am ignoring the date it was set. Continued on, i am going to say one thing. The Christian religion, is extremely different from Wicca, just as Wicca is different from the Christian religion. These religion's are not the ''only'' way, as many people claim to be. Christianty was initially founded by pagan origins, that itself is just another aspect at how these religions, and every religion is very different, in the way it practices its beliefs, how it follows the religion, and thus this shows the difference between religion.

Growing up in a Christian househeld, is varied in terms of the family's associations. Christianty itself is not bad, but nor is it the best either. The same goes for wicca, and paganism. Each religion has something to teach. While christianty claims to be the ''right''/ ''only'' way, when it is not, that doesn't mean you can't live a healthy and foundational aspect in life. Since each religion has a varied aspect of teaching, it has a varied aspect of religion. This is how our world foundation came into existence. Spirituality is the highest commandment you can have. No matter what religion, or assertive aspect you follow, if what you do feels right to you, and for you, as well as having the ability to follow the religions rules, or morals, you should in reality, be able to have and life, a nourishing foundational, and assertive life, healthily.

With that said, i in my belief, i say you can't be christian wiccan. As previously stated above in posts, these traditions are majorly varied, and Christianty is very stereotypical in terms of compassion of beliefs. Rhus growing up in a christian household, you learn what is appropriate, and unappropriate. You learn all on it's so called, ''origins'', as well as its morals which i had thrown down my throat. I don't bash other religions for the past history in our society's back then. We have enough hate, and discrimanation in this world`, mostly due to religion, and the, ''right'' way.

Everyone is entitled to their beliefs, so long as it's not harming anyone. You don't have to like it, no on us asking anyone to like, or even agree with their beliefs. In my opinion, yes. Christian Wicca can exist. God as the God, Mary the Goddess, Jesus representing the cycle of the year following the Wiccan wheel, all the while preaching the Gospel. Now I definitely don't agree with the concept, but it's possible.

Lets also not forget, any condemnation of witchcraft in the bible is the condemnation of Canaanite Magic, not magic done through God's most high and holy name. Just something else to think about.

This subject has been "flogged to death". I will say it one more time. The idea of a Christian/Wiccan is as ridiculous as a Christian/Muslim! Or a Muslim/Buddhist.

Hopefully I am not too late to add to this! The idea of a Christian Wiccan is not as ridiculous as people write it off to be. You have to keep in mind that Christianity is very interpretive because the Bible wasn't written in English. You also have to keep in mind that many people who claim to be "Christian" don't always follow the Bible to it's fullest extent either.

I believe it is impossible to be a traditional wiccan and a traditional Christian; maybe I'm wrong. In conclusion Christian witchcraft is plausible, but Christian Wiccan is debatable. Sorry for further beating this topic.
