As usual, AwakeTooLong explains things very well.I think I should emphasis what he actually said about fire; that not all heat is fire. Let me explain that further. Fire is a "low" explosive,ie, it turns a solid into a gas slowly.(Although in our perceptions of "speed" it can seem to travel extremely fast!) "high" explosive turns a solid into a gas instantaneously. Both need some form of "ignition".Often, dried vegetation is ignited by the Sun.
So, to make Awake's explanation clearer, all fire is heat; but heat is not necessarily fire!

This a rather good explanation of the elements, it is proper and sophisticated. Many beginners should read this.

Again with the forum posts, their always so brilliant, and well informed. Described with detail, again.
