I also took Greek mythology in school, i just got mad and left because my teacher didn't know anything or if she did she was sugar coating thing.

As for tanks post....its said some of the greatest cultures worshiped gods to make it rain. One of the largest is several Indian tribes. They needed the rain to grow there plants and survive the nasty winters.

Maybe I overlooked it , but if we don't already have this in our book, then I think we should add to the book , a list of deites,and or Loa . We all knows the importance of having this knowledge and knowledge in itself is power.

i know a good deal of the greek gods and their roman counter parts, along with several of their forms and stories of the min ones and the demi gods along with most creatures

When it comes to Gods and Goddesses, Greek mythology (Along with the muses and fates) and Egyptian mythology is my area.

Greek gods and their roman counter parts have always been a huge interest in mine. Maybe we should discuss this further since a few of us have such an interest?

Did you know half the Greek gods are gay, as was the culture itself?
