The Pentagram is one of the oldest symbols known to Mankind. All astronomers from ancient to modern know the Pentagram. It is the path of the planet Venus.As the planet orbits through the sky (space!) it forms a perfect Pentagram every eight years. It is why Venus has always been a Goddess.

I think I should clarify my last post. Yes, Venus has always been a Goddess, but she has, of course, had many names over the centuries.Venus was the Roman name.

Yes,indeed,Cazzer! Venus is not only of interest to astronomers but also to astrologers. Venus, as planet, has influence; not so much as the moon, because it is much further away from us. I have been asked quite a few times how the moon (for instance) has influence on us here on Earth. To answer that question one has to accept the scientific fact of the moon's influence on the sea. Tides.
Influence the oceans, then surely an influence on large bodies of water, lakes? Admittedly to a lesser extent. And smaller lakes?
And pools? So the question then asked is "How can it have influence on humans?"
And the answer is, "Because we are around 85% water!". And Venus, to a lesser extent, also.

Further to my last post. Venus as Goddess has always been the Goddess of love. (That's sexual love, not romantic love!) Because the planet Venus is the hottest planet, nearest the sun, and highly sexed humans have always been thought of as "hot".
We still refer to some people as "hot blooded", meaning very sexy.Or to think of a particular girl (or boy!) as "hot stuff!".
Of course, there are times when Venus has more influence than at others. These are the times she is nearer to Earth.

Venus is somewhat to me a primal representation of the sexual desire and energy.
