One question - I know that you need to invoke your spirit guides in a particular order; but do they show themselves in any particular order?

In the past, when I feel overwhelm, afraid, feeling in danger, confuse, hurt, I would call upon my deceased ancestors and the Blessed Virgin Mary to help me and guide me during my troubled times. Upon doing so, either I felt a sense of reassurance, protected, loved, relieved and other different feelings resulting from my "prayer". I even do this when I feel any of my children are lost their ways or just need guidance. Is this the result of invoking spirit guides?

Awesome lesson, I've already met my guide, just one, self. She is me from a past life and we share a soul, I know, it's confusing and weird, but it's true. She is not only a reacher and advisor, but also a friend. I think I've seen another guide a couple times, an owl, just every so often he drops by, very quiet though *sigh* oh well, I'm good with what I have.

i have a few questions: can your spirit guide show up whenever they want? and also, do they have to be from a past life? my uncle died when i was about 7 yrs old, and i think he might be my main spirit guide if its possible.

Good question. From what I've learned, it does not have to be a past life, it could be a old friend or relative, although, it may just be their spirit sticking around to help you out. Somtimes they will show up on there own when you need them, and othertimes, you need to contact them, usually though that meditation drakken explaind to you on this lesson.
