Mythical Creatures.

When I was a teenager, my witch teacher told me to write this in my notebook:-
"He who knows not, and knows not that he knows not.Shun him!
He who knows not,and knows that he knows not. Teach him.
He who knows,and knows that he knows.Follow him; he is a teacher."

The closet anyone will get is by being a shaman. They can call on say the power of a wolf but they don't change into one. they can control an animal to help them if they are strong enough. Again they don't change. This has given the rise of rumors of people changing.(for example say i called a wolf and obscured myself if your not very bright what would you think? hey that guy just turned into that wolf. At best it is a minor trick of magic the shaman just backed into the forest living their familiar to handle you.) A powerful mage can take some energy but that doesn't make them a vampire or immortal. (it can weaken a foe for a time). Again this is not a change into something else it is just simple energy control. No different than the plant exercise. Hope that helps anyone looking to do that which can not be done. :-)

Please don't write your beliefs as though they are facts. It just mixes up the youngsters,then they ask more questions!

I really liked what your witch teacher told you to write in your notebook.Of course the one who admits his empty cup and tries to fill it is wiser than the one foolishly denying it.Your teacher definitely knew the wisdom behind those words.They are spoken so beautifully.Thanks for sharing them.

Right place right time...well most of an are kids,even if they are not,they don't want to believe it.

There are probably dozens of posts on this subject and even one pinned in the general info section.
I am not saying that the goal isn't a good one,but it is frustating (in my opinion) to have dozens of threads on the same subject.
Good intention anyway.

Well,now. Perhaps so. But how many threads are there about spells? Vampires? Demons? Dreams? And each thread has a little bit of interest; a little bit of difference.

Comments and threads with the main idea of "you can't become a mythical creature" are several on this site and the beginners will understand that is impossible and t he fluffs will remain at their fluffy opinion.

My point is that SoM needs to have within it new threads about something beyond "the basics" and the "you can't become a vampire" but this is just an opinion.

I don't want to make the author of the thread feels bad,the intention is very good but I believe this whole idea it should be already clarified for the ones who seriously wants to learn.

Tierun, there is no point in werewolves when it comes to spirituality as their defining factor is their transformation. Having spiritually wolfish features doesn't make someone a werewolf, it makes them wolf-like.
