Summoning with you mind

How would you know that you caled them successfully? Do they talk to you or show a sign?

Generally. They make themselves known in some form or another, either by "speaking" to you ir a sign or omen

Is this sign instantaneous from when you summon them, or does it take time?

Depends on the spirit. I have usually found its within a day. Some spirits tend to be More prompt or hasty, where as others do things in her own time

Yes very, but is rude and unformal if a bond has not yet been made with the entity. I would suggest a formal ritual before doing this, it's kind of like shaking hands. :)

I don't really plan on it, I thought I did summon a demon by thinking about it. But I dought he was real since he only talked inside my head like an imaginary character (I could even make him speak gibberish if I concentrated hard enough). I just wanted to make I actually didn't summon anything, the demon also didn't have a name and I haven't really seen any signs of him.

It happens to me sometimes. With me, at least, I think it happens because when I think about the being I sunconciously perform the mental steps to summon them. I use very few physical tools, and am trained in telepathy so I can contact most with a thought.

In my case, I don't have the luxury of a proper summoning due to lack of space. I'm also new to this, and don't quiet have the know how to interact without being disrespectful. What options do I have? Any help will be much appreciated :-)
