Your pretty stupid to call your self a witch then pray to a false god when something goes wrong? How many of you people acutally know something about norse gods? The gods arn't demons, their are no demons in norse religion its not myhtology just because a church calls it the "devil". When you do a spell you stand within a circle to protect you from the forces that you called upon. You want their help but you fear them. When you use a circle many DIFFERENT kinds of "demons" attack you because of your hyprocricy. doing a spell which probaly was wiccan so your doing it to greek and roman gods and of course the nordic people hate the romans. So when you have a nightmare, take control in the dream, dont depend on someting unless you really have to. Your fear and lack of confedinance in yourself caused it. Deomns must be invited inside of your house to attack you. Shadows are the exception but the most that they can do is take will power away from you which it kinda did. Get some friends together and train, go out in the woods and challange demons to a fight and take control over them, summon your own demons or ask your familiar for help.

I didn't ean to hurt you, or insult you. You have to have confidence when you do a spell and not change you mind when things go wrong, because a god or goddess isn't going to come down and help you, you have to depend on your self and trust your self. I can teach you some defensive tech if you need me to, just mail me. Become more powerful and things wont attack you as often. As long as you learn from your mistakes then you wont repeat them.
in sleep paralyzis you see/feel/smell things in real life AND whats in the dream, and usually in dream paralyzis people see scary things. I know people who only do lucid dreaming and dont believe in demons etc. (when not believing in them, you dont attract them) they see the same things, but because they are in half dream state it is scary. when demons attact in real you usually are fully woke up, or you woke up, and have a huge angony and are sad, scared and all, sometimes somehow angry because demons give you negative energy.
so no worries, I believe its not a demon, just your dream paralyzis :) I wish this helps you and everyone in the future, but if you still think was a demon make a protection spell.
Lol.... You really should be careful of what you are casting a spell for. That demon could've been an incubus or succubus. Those kind of demons attack you during your sleep.
