otherkin/therian coven?

Aren't Otherkin just another type of furries who believe they are actually an animal? I'm sorry but why does there need a coven for them can't they work with other people?

No. Otherkin's are people who believe they are a different species in spirit or in a past life.

There is no such thing as werewolves or vampires and creating a coven for ppl who claim to be those things only promotes ignorance.

Okay cooltoad I do not think you understand. Otherkin and Therians are people who believe that they were an animal in their past life. They could think that they were a cat for example. I am a Therian myself. I think this would be a great opportunity for those in these categories.

I understand that. Just the very first post doesnt seem to be talking about the same thing. shadowfey says "I know that there is some discussion of creating a coven for vampires,weres, and other nonhumans" . I was just putting it out there for shadowfey.

Ah, I see. That would be highly unnecessary to have a coven of werewolves, vampires, etc here.

But we already do they're called Spell Casters :) I mean they may not all be furry, but some of the people from that coven are. I don't see why furry people come here on this site there are plenty of other sites just for them to play make-believe.

A lot of them probably don't realize that they're being fluffy.
As well, the OP probably meant something about vampires, werebeasts, and nonhumans in the same sense of it being in the spirit or soul, not the actual physical body. In the same sense of otherkin, therians, etc. Since therians are primarily based on animals we know and see in the world today, and otherkin or others deal with the spirits that appear or are of the more fantastical description, such as vampiric, lycanthropic, etc. A lot of times, this is expressed through journeys to the otherside, or astrally travelling elsewhere, like to the astral realms, the dreamlands, and so on.
