There used to be a group on here called Nemeton. The group website was separate from SoM but most of the members were here on SoM. I joined it until it broke apart a few years ago, but for the most part it was just about like any other coven on here, just less degree of beginners because people who follow the druidical path generally tend to be a bit experienced within the realm of magick while as other paths are more wide-known and draw in people new to the practice.

Personally I would love to see a few druids band together within a coven on here such as some of those who practice Norse beliefs have to teach new people the ways of the druid. Instead of having a coven or grove of just one faith, have a group with experienced people with a variety of faiths would be better, in my own opinion. That way if someone knew to magic joined the group, it would be more likely that they would find the right path for them without having to try many groups, and the learning experience would be phenomenal.

Druidry is a reconstruction path. There are two groups that I have heard of recently. The OBOD (http://www.druidry.org/) and the AODA (http://www.aoda.org/).

You can also check out Wyldwood Grove. They are a Norse/Celtic mix.

I'm a member of Black Mountain Druid Order. The free dedicant course they offer is great if you're starting out. I'm joining OBOD and going through their Bardic grade as of tomorrow and I also plan to later become a member of AODA as well. There's lots of Druid groups and it's easy and encouraged to be active in as many as you can.

The only limitation to some is membership fees. OBOD is the most expensive, but for good reason. They send you a years worth of material and books to study while you progress through their Bardic grade. You also get access to private websites and a grove mentor.

AODA is much cheaper, but you are required to take the year initiation course outlined in their book "The Druidry Handbook" by the Archdruid Michael Greer. If you have experience or credit in another Grove's initiation that is equivalent to theirs (e.g. OBOD) you only need to pay the fee.

Black Mountain Druid Order is probably your best bet if you want a free introduction to Druidry.

As for the website website groups, I tried Natural Magic because I thought it would be a good fit for a Druid, but the coven was practically stagnant.

As for real life groups, I'm a member of ADF: Ar nDraiocht Fein, A Druid Fellowship. The annual membership fee to ADF as a whole is only $25 if I remember correctly. You then have access to their dedicant path material and a mentor free of charge after that. They also have listing of the local Groves in your area, and it was really easy for me to find mine. My mentor is lovely. Their high day rituals are open to the public, so you can attend a ritual in your area to see if it's something you'd like to get into before you pay for anything. The people in my local Grove are super friendly, and so accepting and ready to answer all my Druidry questions as well as include me in their rituals. I recommend looking them up and meeting your local Grove.

Stagnant as in no activity. I don't know a specific reason why, but at the time there just wasn't enough activity in the coven for me. I don't know what they're up to now. I've been in a different coven for quite some time.

You cannot create new covens on this website. The Site Administrator has determined that there are enough covens on this site already.
