I think your eyes are playing tricks on you. There is no way you can see random spirits floating around the air. If this was ever real then I am missing on a lot.
While I believe in spirits, you should try and rule out any logical explanations first to make sure there's nothing wrong. Sounds could be a house settling, or perhaps a broken pipe that needs fixing. Seeing dark shadows could mean a problem with your eyes, or perhaps an inaudible sound. Studies have shown certain frequencies we humans cannot 'hear' can still effect us by causing hallucinations, even make the hairs on the back of your neck stand up [some horror movies have been known to use these sounds in their soundtracks] this noise is usually caused by old fans in cooling/heating units.
How to see spirits better there's a few ways, through meditation and chakra work you can increase your spiritual connection. There's a few exercises people say increases your 'psychic abilities' you could also look into. There's also a theory that our ability to see spirits diminishes as we age because our eyes weaken, hence why children see more spirits than adults.
Guys, which spirits are we exactly talking about? Souls of dead people wandering on the earth freely? Like does that even happen? Which spirits are these someone please explain it to me. Im awfully confused.

Lol, well for starters this is all based on belief.
Not every child will see spirits [aka ghosts, I say spirits.] But it is more likely. Many theorize it's got something to do with how their eyes are [can't remember exactly] but you could always go with imagination for a logical answer. Demons are believed to be spirits that were never human. Angels I've never studied so I can't help you there, sorry.
Spirits aren't 'everywhere' like you're sitting in a coffee shop and a spirit is definitely sitting becide you, but it could happen. Spirits are sometimes bound to a place or object [the theory is the area holds special meaning to the spirit] but many just wander for whatever reason. It is believed there is a veil between our physical world and the spiritual world, and it will grow thicker and thinner throughout the year. When it's thin you have a greater chance of bumping into a spirit.
Again, these are beliefs and theories and you should always look for logical explanations first.
I do not know much about spirits. But if these are not spirits that you are seeing, it is most likely your mind playing tricks on you. I get migraines daily, and also ocular migraines. I see a lot of hallucinations when I have an ocular migraine, once I was in bed aching in pain, and I looked at the floor and saw cotton swabs everywhere, I am not you so I'm not saying they were not spirits, but if they weren't, your mind was probably playing tricks on you.
Well the best things to do is just ask it to leave very polite way it will work even though it sounds dumb it does I've tried just simply say "Ghost what do you want or can you please leave my home. If this ghost actually can do something physically to you or an object I would recommend Using a banishing spell but before that get help from professionals first don't try to banish it not until you get help from professionals because you don't know what this ghost can do.
Seeing spirits doesn't come in a spell. It comes from practice. If you want to learn to see spirits, practice exercises to see the aura--it's all spirit, an aura is merely a part of your spirit.
Why do you think they are "ghosts"? I would suggest searching the Spiritual Creatures forum for topics on Shadow People. You will never see more than a shadow from that type of being. That's how they appear to us for whatever reason.
