Learning magic is a long process. You can not learn to meditate well in a week and be ready for spell casting the next. All of this takes time and practice. As you practice meditation also take time to read all that you can. The more you know, the more connections you will make and the easier magical workings will be for you in the future. If while you are meditating past experiences come to light then work on them. There is something you must do or learn to move on from the past. It could be understanding what went wrong or just simply acknowledging the feeling you had during the past experience. We learn through research and experience, both of those takes time and patience.

hello i need help aswell i just started and need to know what to start on immediaetly people say meditation or learny herbs etc. but i need something more specific so my magic energy will be more powerful?
