I believe this is getting out of hand. Moonwolf, you've already confirmed all our suspicions of you. Ignorant, close minded, probably arrogant, etc. Raven, as a probationary moderator do you yet have the ability to lock threads? I don't believe anything valuable is going to come from this one now. I have the information I requested, thanks to the more mature and knowledgeable members, so this thread has served it's purpose.

This argument is pretty much pointless. Those who know can say all they know, but those who ask refuse to listen. All this is doing is frustrating people, thus bringing negative energy to them. This was not the point of the thread.

You know folks, you might want to consider that if the "vampires" you are talking about here are human in every important respect, have no supernatural powers, and are neither inhumanly strong nor invulnerable to injuries done with ordinary weaponry...

...MAYBE, JUST MAYBE...

...they aren't REALLY vampires after all. Just pathetic humans pretending to be vampires because they've never found any other way to feel good about who they are.

Folks, I've been hanging around the esoteric community for more than thirty years now. I bought my first Tarot deck in the early 1970's. Still have it around here somewhere. Thanks to the US Army, I've spent time living rough and/or being shot at on four or five continents. And in all that time I've yet to meet a REAL vampire.

And so I challenge any of you to actually produce a real vampire. Mind you, in order to be considered REAL, the vampire has to have at least one supernatural ability traditionally associated with vampires that is demonstrable before witnesses and cameras. Superhuman strength would do, as in bench pressing a thousand kilos or so. Not casting an image in a mirror would be an acceptable supernatural ability. So would a demonstrable invulnerability to gunfire. Being able to transform into a bat or a mist would also be acceptable, as long as it is done before witnesses and cameras.

Anything else is just a poor pathetic loser playing an adult version of "Let's Pretend."

Put up or shut up, kiddies.

Thank you, Frag, for proving my point.

Anyone with any knowledge can now see very clearly how wasteful of our time this argument is since the information we give is constantly ignored. After several detailed descriptions of what real vampires are you, Frag, have finally caught on to the fact that we are not exactly as the myths would tell, but you still cling to the idea that we must in some way be supernatural.

Reread my posts. What I would tell you now has already been said.
