You can call others fearful and ignorant all you like but it doesn't prove you right. He is entitled to his opinions just as you are yours.

Personally I have been gay and proud, and I think that gays can love, we're not just a bunch of instruments of pleasure we are human beings, and every human being desserves to love how ever they want. Personnally I think that the "kill the gays" is not only wrong, but inhuman and sick and personally I think that the ones doing the persecution are worse then the ones being persecuted. Personally I'd rather be a homosexual victim than a sick little child who can justify killing another human being just because he or she is a homicidal homophobe.

This thread has gotten way out of hand. Either help or don't, this wasn't meant to be a hate thread.

Ohh this reminds me of the albinos that flee Tanzania in fear, of being chopped up for cauldrons, hoping for safety in foreign lands ,but only to find that there execution is just delayed because politicians don't want to send the idea that there country is sanctuary for all those in a similar predicaments, deporting them like pigs for the slaughter.
this is unfortunate, i hope that Mr. Segwanyi petition is favored. though, i do understand the UK government reasoning for for turning a blind eye on his situation especially after having riots and growth in unemployment which seems to strengthen the reasoning for there asylum denial. I can only imagine that even though he was already a marked man in Uganda, that the further attention from the media quickens his demise if he has to return.
I signed both petitions, one fore the refusal of Kenya Airways to fly him back to Uganda, and the other for an appeal on the asylum denial, but i am hoping for the appeal or that another country will be willing to welcome Robert Segwanyi with out having to enter Uganda
