A HIGHLANDER FROM GLENCOE

I am very happy to be here. A little about me. I'm a basic bore, nothing special. A 12th generstion Scot, I am lucky to have my family history handed to me in an old box I inherited when my parents crossed over. I am an only child so I received also, 2 Knights Templar swords, a cermonial druid cup with a bullock on it. I was raised Druid, but was taught to hide our ways. I grew up in a Scottish compound in Washington state. The outside world was a great shock when I left the compound to attend Washington State,where I earned my PhD in psychology. I am now a published author after retiring as a professor at MSTI. As I said, I am somewhat boring....still happy to be here.

Merry Meet and welcome Donajhi I agree with both posts we can learn from you and hopefully you can learn from us. It is always good to have another person of the 'older' and hopefully 'wiser' generation with us.

Thank you for your warm welcome. I do hope to live up to the expectations of the forum. I have not practiced for over 40 years and have only recently started again and as with anything, if not used continuely it starts to atrophy. I find my powers are very weak right now. The only thing that has remained strong is looking into a persons mind. You see, I have a great deal of trouble getting people to look into my eyes. I wear light tinted glasses, although I do not need them, so people will look at me. Many years ago I ask a close friend why she would not look me in the eye She said it was like I was looking into her soul. Well I do see their thoughts and the dead people around them. I am ask often, what it is like to see such thing? My answer is always the same, I don't know any different. I am hoping the coven will help me to open again and share my gift??, or burden now that I no longer fear being ostracized. Again, Thank you.
