what is the first step when you start magick and what are all steps to working spells

I do not know the first step.. since I starting use magick before I even had a name for it..but I will say meditation.. or at least follow the golden rule..

yup...medition lots of reading and lisening what other have to say about magic but believe only when one can prove it.Chi meditation is the next/protection spells/energy ball/rituals with candles/AND LOTS OF RESEARCH!!
