Crystals are a natural source of energy. They can be used for many things including enhancing spell work and healing work, or just to carry in your pocket to enhance certian things you want to obtain.

#1 is having more then one crystal on you dangeros, do the efects of abilitys of the crystals work with others ( like having 3-5 on u at the same time).
#2 having a birthstone, dos it make u weak to other stones/crystals? and is the efect apliffied if u ahve ur birthrock with u.
#3 is having a zodiac sign have to do with anything involving crystals, exp: im a cancer, hanging around with the rock of my sign better for me thene others that are not cancer? and if i hang around with one thats NOT from my sign afect me negativly in any way?
#4 wene invocing a sepll with a crystal/rock, or using it in a daily bases, can the stone gain a sort of empathic conection with us..say i give it as a gift to some one close to me cuz i feel i need to give it for protection, can i feed energy to it making it work for another person?? or making it work agenst...say an enemy>?
#5 is meditating with it a good thing?? since a "magic item" usualy takes energy from u or u need to feed it energy to make it more "personal". since it has a spiritual conection with u dos the rock act like a.) amplifier b.) energy drainer c.) bothing in a meditation d.) clears ur minde better.
I alost always use amethyst, it just seems to calm me lots. Diamond is my birthstone, maybe one day in the far, distant future I'll be able to afford one, lol.

1. It is not dangerous. These rocks are natural energy, used to promote certian things, or obsorb certian things. You can carry as many as you want. The worst thing I can forsee happening is you being a bit more energized. If you are sensitive to energy, or a certian type of energy then it can be tiresome or draining at most.
2. Birth stones are not an exact science. If you google a list of birthstone vs. signs you may find a few different lists. Since it is not an exact sound proof list, you are not more or less affected by any stone.

4. Certian stones may " call " to you. You can feed your energy into one, but it's usually done to sort of, hold it for you until later. You can give a stone that is known for protection to a person, but adding your energy isn't necessary. You're just adding energy to an already energized stone. And if you do it wrong, you can cross the energies.
They are nuetral energies. They have no good or bad. Taking a stone and putting negative energy into it I personally don't think will do much good. I put mine into a certian crystal I have. The worst it does is make me feel the negative energy when I touch it and then disappear from me for a while only to come back clean.
If you want to give something to an enemy, I don't suggest using crystals at all. They are more of a positive tool than a negative.
5. You can meditate with it if you want, but things in the magickal world you do not find. They find you. If they belong to you, you will have an attachment with them. If they are not meant for you, they will find a way out.
You don't need to "feed" a stone to keep it energized. This is a natural source of energy and in my opinion has enough of it's own. You can, if you find one that calls to you , use it as a holding tank of energy or have its energy aplified more, but it will be a natural thing because it's yours. Not because you forced it to.
My crystal necklace for example is mine. It called to me. People who touch it, though the energies from it are actually nuetral, tend to get a odd sensation in thier hands and arms because they are messing with something that is not theirs.

There is a distinct difference in a Magick Item..ie a Tool to be used in performing magick,like a wand,Athema,or any other tool...and a Crystal.
A tool needs an outside energy source to be of any use,thats why you have to charge them with your energy or that of another to use them
A Crystal comes fully charged and ready to use with its own energy,so it actually gives you a boost,instead of draining you.
Like healer said ,dont just grab up the first crystal you come across and claim it to be the one you ned.
I have 3 basic crystals.
Quartz I carry EVERY day I carry it in my front pocket it goes everywhere I go.
I have a Gold ring I wear around my neck on a gold chain.
It has a ruby ,with an Onyx inset.
This too goes with me every day every where I go.
I also have an Amethest ring but I dont wear it as much as the others.
They called to me even when I didnt understand that they were.
At the time I got them I just knew that they made me feel better and I liked them.
Keep your ears and eyes open(magickally speaking) you never know when the rocks may cry out.

Remember, carrying crystals with you can improve energies and attract certian things you may be looking for.
