Im not entirely sure if this is a spell but whilst meditating I kind of whispered vent-us imp-er-ee-um (thats spelt finetically) and since the wind has developed into a massive gale and hasnt stopped, if you know if this is a spell or not or what, what I said means can you let me know please, thanks lol
words are not magick. energy is magick. words are only used to direct the energy. if i was to say hod-ol-brahn-bery-tu-roark and someone out there used those words to conjure up an arch angel....it would do nothing, because to me....the words are meaningless.
Thanks Luzifer, but the thing is every time Ive said this so far whilst meditating (it doesnt work if im not meditating) the same thing has happened. Now I have a theory on this and it may be that because it happened the first time, which could very well have been coincidence, although I was sceptical myself I think I almost subconsciously believe that it will work and then because I expect it to work I also subconsiously manipulate energy to make it windy, although what you say is true that words arent magic, it is also partially incorrect if the words provide focus and function to the energy then it can easily be interpreted that those words are magic which then leads onto the same affect in others which can eventually lead to the words becoming magic if only by belief, in affect you could compare this to the placebo affect
I have to disagree with the philosophy that words are not magical.
Words and sounds are magical for they are how we communicate with all types of different things. A mother speaking to her baby brings happy and safe feelings to the infant, the call of one bird to another can initiate the mating process, dolphins and whales can find lost loved ones through their clicks and moans. Even a great ape can protect it's "tribe" through the use of the groans, screams, and calls. Though these are not just examples of words but all different types of sounds they still hold the same amount of evidence that one may believe in.
The truth of spoken sound is that it causes reaction in any creature great and small. Plants even respond to the energy you give them through talking. Water conducts sound and energy, therefore if it is made up of water it can be affected by other forms of water. (Please take the time to read the children's book by Masaru Emoto "The Secret of Water" for more information)
As you talk the different pitches, tones, and variances used can magically change the world around you. Look at all the great speakers in history, look at the written word, if these are not sone of the greatest examples of the "power" of words I feel I have lost all connection to the world around me.
I understand that people want a swish, flick, and say the "magic" type of world. But it is not that simple. I suggest starting with the basic magic words that can be said in any language; please, thank you, excuse me, hello, goodbye, blessing, and peace. If you use these words often with the correct tone, I promise positive magical things will start to come your way. Just remember to keep using them properly or the magic you create will turn to the negative. :)
