I started practicing magick when I was 18 or 19 years old. I like a lot of other people loved witchy movies like Hocus Pocus, The Craft, and Practical Magick...oh and who could foget The Witches and The Witches of EastWick. I turned to magick when actually a few close friends threatened my well being, lol! The funny thing is, at first I wanted revenge but then I learned how cool magick was ,and I then forgot all about those women, the problem how ever was that my family actually almost dis owned me. They told me I was a devil worshipper ,I'm stupid, go back to Jesus, I need professional help (be-*tches) and just made me feel terrible...I felt like I had no one! I've come across a lot of teens lately that have gone through this and WORSE and I'm simply adding this post to ask if we could consider a teen mentoring project for magick teens. Please lets think about it...
Oh P.S. Ironically I found out recently that I have always had the gift of Astral projection. When I spoke to my mother about this and my premonitions we had a long talk, and guess what ...she has psychic dreams of death and birth! The sad part is due to her families ignorance and unacceptance, and fear of magick she NEVER took it further when she was a child, and she's now a 54 yr old woman who in my opinion has wasted her talent and not really true to herself. I don't want this to happen to other teens....
I can relate to your story Willa, its true were called devil worshipers. Allow your mother to know its never to late to start practicing. My family is a mixed religion, we would like to think were stable but were really not.
I believe you can do well in teaching just by sharing your story, many witches could relate.
Hi again! I just wanted to add to this post in hopes that all TEENS AND NEW MEMBERS to the site will read this and take heade. Firstly ,the one thing everyone should learn about obtaining poer is this ..."WITH POWER COMES GREAT RESPONSIBILITY". When obtaining magick powers and gifts you must learn how to harness and use your power responsibly and positively. Magick is energy, and magick has the ability to give a person madness. I myself have experienced that . Its like having the world in the palm of your hands,and destroying it simply because you can. Please read, and practice magick wisely and responsibly. Blessed Be!
the burden for using it the right ways and not drawing over tothe dark side, the dark side makes things seem easier but have a higher cost, but the ways of the force do the same but with a lower cost, hence why lanakin joined the sith and luke stayed the same, but if you are never burdened with the choice of good or evil then you have absolutely no power what so ever
