i was just wondering.....
how do you make voodoo dolls, cause i've seen them online, and junk, and they're all made a different way, but thats besides the point; how would you .. i know how to sew and junk, i've made one before, but it didnt work... would i need to chant something while i sew and stuff? :S or chant anything after its made?
i have a friend who knows how. Her name is Irakuaminara and she has an acount. she doesn't like to tell people how but, if you tell her i said so then she might say yea. but don't stress her.

but its just on my cousin, and shes gonna do the same to me. sooo, we're gonna make voodoo dolls of each other. we're close, and give it a try.. we have the same interest.. ^^
Doll babies sewn out of fabric are always nice, as are ones made from sticks, but really, if you're not inclined to do an arts and crafts project, you can just use children's clay which air-hardens, such as Play Doh. I've used Play Doh before, worked herbs and personal effects into the clay, worked my emotions into the doll baby as i sculpted it, and it was very effective.
(oh, and as an aside, working with dollies has little or nothing to do with the religion of Voodoo/Vodou.)
I have done voodoo dolls but with mine I just use sticks, yarns and find some fabric to make mine it ends up being so cute. But if I want to use it as a magical purpose I first concencrate it and then bliss it or like LdyGry said put some feelings to it. Cause to some people they are a part of them as they are to them. I mostly use mine for protection but it feels like one of my voodoos is starting to hate me cause for some reason everytime I touch it. It ends up hurting me. (not like moving but something else. Oh well I still love her)
Actually making a voodoo doll is really not that hard at all as intent is always the most important thing in all spellcasing. To make yourself a genuine voodoo doll you should always have something of the person you are making the likeness of the doll after. It can be a photo but some hair or fingernail clippings would work better as it has the psychic imprint from the person upon it.
To make your voodoo doll you will need two sticks in which you can form together in the shape of a cross, then using the personal items you have gathered combine them with spanish moss. Take the moss and the personal items and start to wrap the mixture around the centre of the cross, in a continued motion continue to wrap the moss around the top,base and sides of the cross untill the sticks are held together tightly. One continuous peice of moss will make for stronger magick but it can be broken apart if needed. While you are wrapping this moss around your sticks be sure to focus all your thoughts and energy on the person you are making the doll to resemble, the better your focus the stronger your magick. Then taking black cloth or ribbon you would then wrap and bind all the moss on the sticks that you just finished. This is called the binding process where you are binding part of the persons soul or energy into the item with the black cloth, again be very focused while you are doing this. You can leave some moss out of the top for hair if like but the rest should all be bound. Now the magick part is done and you can decorate the doll if you like, using beads for eyes and a mouth. You have just completed making an authentic voodoo doll and it is now ready for use. One thing to remember is that Karma comes back 3 fold so be aware of that when you are using the doll.
