Perhaps someone can help

I'm sorry if I'm putting this in the wrong area. But I have something that I'm trying to find answers to.

Lately, a loved one and I broke up, I wont go into all the details. But for years now every once in a while I see the Nightmare in my dreams. ( For those who may not know, a Nightmare, or at least the one I'm refering to, is a black horse with a fire mane and tail.)

But recently its been in my dreams every night, sometimes prominent, sometimes not. I know in my heart that I am a horse spirit, absolutely everything about me points to it, so that may be part of it. I have always been facinated by the Nightmare, but never like recently.

Ever since my ex and I broke up, which was about a month ago, I cant seem to get this Nightmare off my mind. I seem to be obsessed with it, and honestly I dont know why.

Could someone please try and give me an idea of why this might be happening to me? Or give me a link to a site where I can learn more about this creature.
