evil magic

i have been shunned by my community and friends, because of my practice of wicca. i ask, is wicca, and magic in general so evil that you should be shunned and labeled a god hating heathen, and barred from eternal bliss? and are these consequences effected at all by the type of magic? (healing, protection, death)? lemme know your opinion

No Wicca is not evil. It is wrong information that makes some think that.

I cant think of any more goody-goody spiritual path than Wicca.

Wicca seem to be all about doing nice things such as healing, luck/love/protection spells and...hug trees!

I was saying that the last part about wicca was a joke and that there are many misconceptions when it come to religions.

Those are religious nuts that are trying to make Christianity the most powerful religion. Which is not. Wicca is a peaceful, loving, tolerance, religion. We believe if we cause evil, the evil will come back to us three times worse. So its pretty funny how they say we're evil yet, we're trying not to hurt anybody because we don't want bad karma or hurt others. Not all Christians are nuts. I don't know any other wiccan off the web except me. All my other friends and family are christians, catholics, and some athiest and we're all frinds. I mean, I don't think satan created flowers.

I know there is a lot of hate for Christians on this board by some users, but I really don't get it. Sure, I dislike the Catholic church for some of their stuff, but honestly I don't care that much. I give a honest effort to respect all religions and all beliefs, even if I don't believe in them. Everyone has the right to believe in what they want. We shouldn't become what we are hating. You say you hate that they oppress us (Wiccans, etc) but if you keep spreading that message you are exactly guilty of the same crime you just gave them. All religions make mistakes, but blame the regime, not the followers.

I'm an agnostic and I'm proud of it. There are many questions I don't know the answer to and I'm not ashamed to say it. I don't need to explain them using a religion or some other story. I hope I'll eventually know the answer, but I'm not counting on it.
