New to this :)

So, I literally today started looking up magic(k?) and witchcraft and all the jazz, and while right now I can't do anything (I've been googling for a while, but that's all it's really amounted to. Although I have been staring at a pen, waiting for it to move for about an hour or so XD). Anyway, I know I'm not going to be able to do anything really right now, but I am really interested in all this, and was just kind of interested in how spells and the like work.
Like, at the moment I am literally clueless; I saw a few spells mentioning storing energy and stuff and it just went right over my head XD So a point in the right direction would be appreciated. I'm just really interested to learn how it all works really :]
Anyway, sorry for my rambling and thanks for reading :)

I would suggest you learn some of the basics such as meditation, visualization, and starting on energy manipulation never hurts either.

Generally when you cast a spell you need a strong belief that it will work and a clear intent. The intent is what you want the outcome of the spell to be.
