The plant: Lavender is classified as an evergreen shrub. Lavender plants grow from two to three feet tall. They have lilac blue flowers that grow on tall spikes. The flowers dry easily and retain their scent and color for a long time. Lavender flowers are easily found June through September.

I'm happy you posted this. Lavender is one of my favorite herbs. It has a wonderful scent and a variety of uses. I mainly use it to help lesson stress. It is also quite good in foods and drinks.

I actually typed it up from a reference book on herbs that I bought from a local book store. I fell in love with it and thought that since I posted it in one of our sister covens might as well add it here too, lol
